Trek Itinerary

Your Pickup will be from Rishikesh, around 8 AM in the morning. From there your Journey will start and you will embark on a 247 km scenic drive to reach Joshimath Basecamp. Your arrival will be followed by Dinner and a detailed briefing about your trek from our Experienced and Certified Trek Leaders. Rest well and Prepare for your Trek. Overnight stay in a Hotel/Guesthouse at Joshimath.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey with a short drive of approximately 12 km from Joshimath to Dhak, the starting point of the trek. From here, embark on a scenic 10–11 km trek through dense oak and rhododendron forests, charming Himalayan villages, and open meadows, gradually gaining altitude as the majestic Garhwal Himalayas unfold around you. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of peaks like Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghoda Parvat. By evening, arrive at Khullara Campsite, nestled amidst alpine forests and mountain landscapes. Enjoy warm evening snacks followed by a hearty dinner before settling into your tents for an overnight stay under the Himalayan sky.

Wake up to a beautiful Himalayan sunrise and enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting out for an acclimatization trek to the iconic Kuari Pass. The trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows and open ridgelines, offering spectacular views of some of the Garhwal Himalayas’ highest peaks, including Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Hathi-Ghoda Parvat, Chaukhamba, and Kamet. After spending some time at Kuari Pass (3,650 m) and soaking in the breathtaking panorama, retrace your steps back to Khullara Campsite. Relax with evening snacks, enjoy a warm dinner, and spend another peaceful night camping amidst the pristine Himalayan wilderness.

Begin your summit day well before dawn with an early breakfast and a packed lunch before setting out for the challenging ascent to Pangarchulla Peak (4,630 m). The trail starts through alpine meadows before gradually transitioning into rocky ridges, steep snow slopes (during spring), and rugged high-altitude terrain. As you gain elevation, breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Kamet, Hathi-Ghoda Parvat, and Neelkanth unfold in every direction. After reaching the summit and celebrating your achievement amidst the spectacular Himalayan panorama, begin the careful descent back to Khullara Campsite. Arrive by evening for well-deserved refreshments, a hearty dinner, and an overnight stay after an unforgettable summit day.

After breakfast, begin your descent from Khullara Campsite, retracing the scenic trail through lush oak and rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, and charming Himalayan landscapes. Depending on weather conditions, trail status, and the trek leader’s decision, the descent will be via Dhak or Auli, each offering its own unique views of the Garhwal Himalayas. Upon reaching the road head, drive back to Joshimath, where you can relax and unwind after the successful completion of your trekking adventure.     We provide triple and twin-sharing tents at beautiful campsites during the trek, along with sleeping bags and mats. In Joshimath, you’ll stay in a comfortable guesthouse or hotel.

    Joshimath is well-connected by road and lies about 255 km from Dehradun. You can take a shared cab, private taxi, or bus from Dehradun or Rishikesh. We can also help arrange transportation.

    Our package includes transportation from Rishikesh, meals during the trek, accommodation, permits, trek leaders and guides, safety equipment (like microspikes and gaiters), and support staff to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

    • Trek permits and other arrangements will be processed only after full payment.

    • Rescheduling is allowed only once and must be requested at least 7 days before the trek start date.

    • 30+ days before the trek: 90% refund of the total amount.
    • 15-30 days before the trek: 50% refund of the total amount.
    • Less than 15 days before the trek: No refund.
