Your pickup will be from Manali Private Bus Stand around 10 AM in the morning. From here, a short drive will take you to Rumsi, the starting point of your trek. After a quick lunch break, you will begin your trek towards Naya Thapru, covering an easy trail of about 4–5 km. The route passes through charming villages, alpine forests, and beautiful meadows, gradually introducing you to the scenic landscapes of the Himalayas. On arrival at the Naya Thapru Campsite, enjoy refreshing evening snacks followed by a wholesome dinner. Later, our Certified Trek Leaders will conduct a detailed briefing about the trek. Rest well in your tents and get ready for the adventures ahead. Overnight stay in camps.
After an early morning breakfast at Naya Thapru, you will begin your trek towards Dadru via Chandrakhani Pass. Today’s trail is the highlight of the trek, as you ascend gradually through alpine meadows and oak–deodar forests, making your way to the Chandrakhani Pass at 12,008 ft. From the top, soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the Pir Panjal, Dhauladhar, and Parvati ranges — a truly unforgettable sight. After spending some time at the pass, you will descend through scenic trails leading to the Dadru Campsite. Upon arrival, enjoy evening snacks followed by dinner, and wind down under a starlit sky. Overnight stay in camps.
After breakfast at Dadru Campsite, you will start your descent towards the ancient village of Malana. The trail today passes through dense forests and narrow ridges, gradually leading you down to the valley. As you approach Malana, the views of traditional stone houses and terraced fields unfold, offering a glimpse into the unique culture and heritage of one of the oldest villages in the Himalayas. Upon reaching Malana, your trek comes to a memorable conclusion. From here, you can proceed with your onward journey carrying unforgettable memories of the Chandrakhani Pass Trek.
After breakfast at Malana, you will begin the final leg of your journey with a gradual descent towards Jari village. The trail takes you through pine forests and mountain ridges, eventually opening up to the Malana Nallah and connecting roads. From Jari, a comfortable drive will bring you back to Manali, marking the end of your Chandrakhani Pass Trek. Relive the unforgettable moments of the past few days — from scenic meadows and high-altitude passes to the cultural charm of Himalayan villages — as you conclude this enriching adventure.
