Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Rishikesh to Gangotri (240 km Drive)

Your pickup will be from Rishikesh, from there you will embark on an approximately 240 km drive to Gangotri. It will be a scenic drive through Uttarakhand, passing Uttarkashi & Harsil Valley. You will arrive at Gangotri, the starting point of the Trek. Overnight stay in a guesthouse/hotel.

Day 2: Gangotri to Chirbasa (9 km Trek)

After your breakfast at Gangotri, embark on an approximately 9 km trek to Chirbasa, your first campsite of the Trek. The trail runs alongside the Bhagirathi River, offering stunning views of Sudharshan Parbat. You will walk through dense pine and birch forests, reaching the campsite at Chirbasa. Overnight Camping at Chirbasa.

Day 3: Chirbasa to Bhojbasa (5 km Trek)

Have your breakfast in the Morning and start your trek towards Bhojbasa. Your total trekking distance for the day would be approximately 5 km. As you trek towards Bhojbasa, the terrain will become more rockier and barren. On your way witness the majestic Bhagirathi and Shivling Peaks. Explore the scenic Bhagirathi Valley and reach Bhojbasa. Overnight Camping at Bhojbasa.

Day 4: Bhojbasa to Tapovan via Gaumukh (9 km)

Today would be an Important day as you will be trekking towards the Gaumukh Glacier, the source of the Holy Ganga River. Today's total trekking distance would be approximately 9 km. Reach the Gaumukh Glacier and soak in the serenity of the envoirnment. After that you will be climbing towards Tapovan, a high-altitude meadow with panoramic views of Mt. Shivling, Meru and Bhagirathi Peaks. Tapovan is known for it's Spiritual Significance and Meditation Spots. Overnight Camping at Tapovan.

Day 5: Tapovan to Bhojbasa (9 km Trek)

Wake up early and witness the Morning Sunrise on Mt. Shivling, before starting the descent. Have your breakfast and get ready to descend to Bhojbasa. Trek down to Bhojbasa via Gaumukh, carefully navigating the rocky terrain. Reach Bhojbasa. Overnight stay at Bhojbasa.

Day 6: Bhojbasa to Gangotri (14 km Trek)

Today you will trek down from Bhojbasa to Gangotri. After your breakfast, you will trek for approximately 14 km, back to Gangotri. Overnight stay at Gangotri.

Day 7: Gangotri to Rishikesh (240 km Drive)

This day marks the bittersweet end of your trekking adventure. After a final breakfast at Gangotri, embark on an approximately 240 km drive back to Rishikesh. Reach Rishikesh by evening, which marks the end of your Trekking Adventure.
