Day 1: Rishikesh to Lohajung (250 km Drive)
Your Pickup will be from Rishikesh, around 8 AM in the morning. From there your Journey will start and you will embark on a 250 km scenic drive to reach Lohajung Basecamp. Your arrival will be followed by Dinner and a detailed briefing about your trek from our Experienced and Certified Trek Leaders. Rest well and Prepare for your Trek.
Day 2: Lohajung to Bekaltal
After an early morning breakfast get ready to start your adventure. Embark on an approximately 6-7 km trek to Bekaltal Campsite. The Trek will take around 4-5 hours. After reaching the campsite, hot lunch will be served followed by a short hike to the Bekaltal Lake. Return back to the campsite and call it a day after the dinner.
Day 3: Bekaltal to Brahmatal Summit and back to Bekaltal
This will be the big day, the Summit Day. After your breakfast, trek through the forests and open meadows to reach the Brahmatal Summit. Spend some time at the summit and soak in the views and return back to the Bekaltal Campsite for overnight camping.
Day 4: Bekaltal to Daldum
After the breakfast, descend down to Daldum Campsite. This would be your last camping day! Enjoy your meals at Daldum campsite and reminisce about the adventure!
Day 5: Daldum to Lohajung and back to Rishikesh
This day marks the bittersweet ending of your adventure. After a final Breakfast at the Daldam Campsite, get ready to head back to Rishikesh and conclude your Trekking Adventure.

1. What is the best time to do the Brahmatal trek? The best time is December to April for snow-covered trails. This is trek is usually done during these months only and isn't much popular during the other months.
2. How difficult is the Brahmatal trek? It is a moderate trek, suitable for beginners. The ascent is gradual, but cold temperatures and snow can make it slightly challenging.
3. What is the total trekking distance? The trek covers around 20 km (round trip) from Sankri.
4. What is the altitude of Brahmatal Summit? The summit stands at 12,250 ft (3,733 m) above sea level.
5. What kind of accommodation is provided? Tents are provided on a twin/triple-sharing basis during the trek. Accommodation in Lohajung is usually in homestays or guesthouses.
6. How cold does it get during the trek? Temperatures can drop to -5°C to -15°C in winters. Proper layering and warm gear are essential.
7. Is Brahmatal trek safe for solo travelers? Yes, it is safe for solo trekkers, especially with an organized trekking group. The route is well-marked, and guides are available.
8. Do we need a permit for the trek? Yes, a Forest Permit is required. If you book with a trekking company, they usually arrange it.
9. Is there network connectivity on the trek? There will be network connectivity all throughout the trek.
10. What is the level of fitness required? Basic fitness is needed. It's recommended to prepare with cardio exercises, leg strength training, and endurance workouts before the trek.
