Day 2: Sitapur to Kedarnath (18 km Trek)

After a quick breakfast en route, take a brief pause at Gaurikund's hot springs before embarking on the challenging 18 km trek to Kedarnath. Arrive at Kedarnath Valley by 3:00 PM, freshen up, and attend the divine evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple, immersing yourself in the sacred and spiritual ambiance. Overnight stay near the temple in Tents or Hotel. Please note that due to high footfall during festivals, accommodation adjustments may be necessary. Dinner in Kedarnath is limited in options, so plan accordingly.

After attending the Aarti, stand in the queue for darshan and offer your prayers to Lord Shiva.

Once the morning rituals are complete, we begin our descent back to Gaurikund, which usually takes 4-6 hours. After reaching Gaurikund, we take a shuttle service back to Sonprayag. From there, we proceed to Sitapur, where our journey for the day concludes.

Overnight stay in a hotel in Sitapur, allowing you to rest and rejuvenate after the trek.
