Yatra Itinerary:
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (220 km Drive)
Embark on a thrilling journey starting from Haridwar, traveling along the Char Dham Highway by the sacred Ganga River. Witness the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda at Devprayag. Upon reaching Barkot by evening, relax and acclimatize in the serene surroundings. Enjoy a wholesome dinner and stay overnight in a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri & Back to Barkot (45 km Drive / 12 km Trek)
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, embark on a 45 km drive to Janki Chatti, and start your trek towards Yamunotri Dham. The Trek is 6 km one side. Take a dip in the Holy Yamuna river and offer prayers at the temple. Spend some time there and trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to your hotel at Barkot. Overnight stay at the hotel at Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km Drive)
Have your breakfast and embark on an approximately 100 km drive to Uttarkashi. Reach Uttarkashi by afternoon and Check-INN at your Hotel. You may visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple in Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri & back (200 km Drive)
After an early morning breakfast, drive approximately 100 km to the sacred Gangotri Dham. Reach Gangotri and offer your prayers at the temple. After spending some time there, head back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Sitapur (220 km Drive)
Have an early morning breakfast at the hotel and embark on an approximately 220 km drive to Sitapur. Enjoy the scenic ride. Reach Sitapur & Check-INN at the hotel at Sitapur. Overnight stay at Sitapur hotel.
Day 6: Sitapur to Kedarnath (18 km Trek)
Experience the pivotal D-Day with a meticulously planned itinerary for a hassle-free journey amidst the Yatra rush. Wake up at 1:30 AM and depart by 2:00 AM for Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, take a shuttle cab to Gaurikund, the base of the trek.
After a quick breakfast en route, take a brief pause at Gaurikund's hot springs before embarking on the challenging 18 km trek to Kedarnath. Ensure you are physically fit before starting, as the trek, despite its moderate difficulty, requires endurance.
Arrive at Kedarnath Valley by 3:00 PM, freshen up, and attend the divine evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay near the temple in Tents or Hotel. Please note that due to high footfall during festivals, accommodation adjustments may be necessary.
Day 7: Kedarnath to Sitapur (18 km Descend)
Wake up early to witness the 5:00 AM morning prayer (Abhishek Aarti) at the Kedarnath Temple. After attending the Aarti, stand in the queue for darshan and offer your prayers to Lord Shiva.
Once the morning rituals are complete, we begin our descent back to Gaurikund, which usually takes 4-6 hours. After reaching Gaurikund, we take a shuttle service back to Sonprayag. From there, we proceed to Sitapur, where our journey for the day concludes. Overnight stay in a hotel in Sitapur.
Day 8: Sitapur to Badrinath (216 km Drive)
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and prepare for your Journey to Badrinath Dham. Enjoy the scenic views of the Chopta Valley uptil Badrinath Dham. Reach Badrinath & check-IN to the Hotel, & attend Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath Dham.
Day 9: Badrinath to Rishikesh (285 km Drive)
After breakfast, Check-out from the Hotel. If you wish to visit the Mana village, that would be chargeable. Get ready for a drive back to Rishikesh. Enjoy the scenic views and reflect on the Spiritual Journey you have had. Reach Rishikesh by evening. Time to end the Yatra with lots of memories and Devotion towards the Holy Char Dham Yatra.
